An update to my last post concerning the closing and retirement of Frank Mauritz Studio.

The response to your request for your old files has been overwhelming!! Please be patient if I don’t respond right away. Messenger seems to be the best way to get me. Also, wedding files will be under brides maiden name. Please leave a phone number so I can contact you if i have questions .

Some may not realize that images made prior to 2001 , will be negative format, meaning they will need to be converted to digital before they can be used. This i will not have time to do before closing.

After more than 70 years,42 for me personally, the FRANK MAURITZ STUDIO will be closing its doors.
The building has been sold, and the new owner has graciously given me 30 days to wrap things up.
If you have any unfinished business with the Studio, please take care of it within the next two weeks, and I will no longer be doing photo shoots.
Many have asked what will happen to the old Files? My archives date back to 1975 to the present. If anyone is interested in their old files I can find them for a fee of $30.00 per file. You must know the approximate year and the name on file. The files will no longer be available after closing.
From the bottom of my heart, THANk YOU, to all my loyal patrons. This photography journey has been so much more than a career. It has been an absolute privilege to capture your most cherished memories, from life’s quiet beginnings, to its biggest milestones.
Photographing generations of your families has been an honor I will always treasure.
