I used to be a newspaper photographer. One of my favorite things to photo are what I call, editorial commercial shoots, where photoing the experience weighs more than photoing what they sell. As in Brews and Bats on Oleander.

One of my favorite thing to photo are horses ... A good edit on horse photos is bringing the texture way up and the whites up and the contrast up ... Horse hair is reflective. The white levels accent the reflection on the horse... the texture levels make it sort of a film look. One thing too are "horse people". They have a tranquility about them when they are around their horses. A connection... It's fun to capture that connection. A couple of more photos are in the comments. If you have a child that has a horse. Consider a photo session. You'll find that they are in their happy place : )
