Congratulations to Ciara and Russell Wilson on their recent pregnancy announcement. Ciara’s post showing them surprising their kids with the news was very sweet. Their reactions were priceless. I got to photograph both of them on the red carpet back in February when they were in the Bay Area for the Super Bowl. They were such a lovely couple.

Sunset on 9/8/2026. A beautiful sunset on our anniversary. Such an amazing gift. Captured these videos while on a bike ride while one of my kids was at soccer practice. It’s been hectic lately with 2 kids now in high school. Time is sure flying by! I spend a lot of time these days being their chauffeur. I’m sure I’ll miss it when they start driving themselves around.

Sunset on 8/25/2026 from Alameda. It’s been awhile since I’ve been out there for sunset. I forgot how pretty it is. Also nice to see the ship number lit up on the Hornet. I didn’t know that they did that. Reminds me of seeing the ships lit up at Pearl Harbor.

Today, Aug 25, would have been my baby’s 25th birthday. Gosh I miss her so much. Even though it’s been over 8 years, I still think about her everyday.
Now sadly every time I think of her birthday, I’ll also be reminded of the day Dolly Parton passed. I wish I met her but everything that I’ve seen or read about her was positive. We need more people like her in the world.

Sunset tonight, August 23, 2026. It’s been a minute since I posted anything here on Instagram. It’s been a busy summer. We spent nearly a month in Japan and then came the big push to get the kids ready for school. It seems like summer passed by in the blink of an eye. Tonight’s sunset was magical with the fog rolling in and burning sky above. I think the last time I saw a sky like this was on July 4. Hope you all had a great summer.

Happy 250th Birthday to the United States of America. I missed the 200th birthday so happy to be around for this one. 😅😂. We caught one of the only 4th of July parades in the East Bay today. It was a lot of fun. It was our first time back in the Bay Area for the holiday in 12 years! Let’s hope we can see some fireworks tonight without the fog ruining it. 🤞

Did you know that there are only 4 Sears Department stores left in the country? One of them is located right here in the Bay Area at Sun Valley Shopping Center in Concord, California.

Am I the only one who had no idea that you’re supposed to turn on your headlights while you’re driving on the lower deck of the Bay Bridge? It’s not one long tunnel…Why is there only one sign telling you to do so? I’ve been in the Bay Area for over 20 years and can’t believe I haven’t seen that sign before!

Since we were in the city yesterday to see the co**se flower, my son and I decided to go whale watching off the coast. It did not disappoint! It was the first time that I had seen several whales lunge feeding at the same time. It was so cool. Hope you have a good weekend.
