I'm just back from spending a wonderful day with the visiting heroes from Fort Wayne aka Honor Flight Northeast Indiana. I'd like to share a few special pictures ... more to follow.

I spent Wednesday with the heroes on Honor Flight Northeast Indiana as they visited their memorials in DC. The album of my pictures is now finished and any of the pictures can be downloaded in high quality for free by veterans, families and anyone else for non-commercial use.

I was in Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport early yesterday and had a chance meeting with Heartland Honor Flight as their heroes were arriving for a day in DC to visit their monuments.

I was delighted to spend the day with the veterans on Honor Flight - Top of Virginia as they visited their monuments in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA.
Their visit started at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington followed by visits to the Air Force Memorial, the World War II Memorial and then the eastern end of the National Mall to visit the Korean, Lincoln and Vietnam Memorials.
Some of the great young ladies and men from acted as guardians for the day.

I was honored to spend this year's D-Day anniversary with the visiting heroes on Honor Flight Chicago's 85th flight. Congressman Randy Hultgren came out to meet the heroes and thank the heroes for their service to our country.

I was privileged to spend this Wednesday, the 74th anniversary of D-Day, with the heroes from Honor Flight Chicago.

Here is one of my favorite pics as I start to review and edit the almost 2,000 pics I took on the day.

The pictures will be posted on the Honor Flight's website, but I couldn't resist giving you a sneak peek of this photo of one of the 2 World War II veterans on this 85th flight organized by the great team at Honor Flight Chicago.

Here's the third and final album from May 15th when I was grateful to have joined the wonderful veterans from the Original 819th Red Horse and their partners for the 52nd anniversary reunion.

Laura Nelson-bolick was a superb tour leader and organizer for the day.

Operation Gratitude provided gifts for each of the veterans and their partners. Thank you!

MISSION BBQ rolled out their truck and catered a delicious dinner.

It was truly wonderful to meet each of these great people. Thank you again for your service and to all those who serve.

Here's the second full album from May 15th when I was privileged to spend the day with the heroes from the Original 819th Red Horse and Laura Nelson-bolick. This album of their visit to the DC area covers stops at: Korean War Memorial; Lincoln Memorial; Vietnam Veterans Memorial; Tomb of the Unknowns; and last but definitely not least, the Air Force Memorial.

Next stop is back to their hotel with gifts from Operation Gratitude and dinner from MISSION BBQ.

I was fortunate to spend a day with Laura Nelson-bolick and the great men and women from the Original 819th Red Horse on May 15. This first full album of their visit covers stops at the US Navy Memorial, National World War II Memorial, FDR Memorial and Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial. The tour continues after lunch before the return to their hotel and a surprise from Operation Gratitude. More pics to come as the heroes continue their visit around DC.
