Mini-portfolio moment and (re-) introduction for the person that lives behind this page :)

Hello! I'm Nikki Adams, portrait photographer and clinical social worker based in St. Louis. My interest in photography began around age 10 with a $120 digital camera that I purchased with my own hard-earned cash from the Walmart that no longer exists in my hometown and blossomed into a *very relaxed* side-hustle using a decent Nikon DSLR.

Over the past 8 years I have acquired the four-to-five times per year odd gig simply by existing on Yelp and being willing to connect with strangers (and sometimes friends :)).

Some wonderful returning customers have come from this business model!

Now that the school brain burnout is healed, I'm finally feeling the energy to be creative again. And I was very kindly reminded this past weekend why I love doing portrait photographry, (and especially celebrations) -- I am so filled with joy after capturing happy memories!!
