This upcoming October will mark 10 years that I have been a full time photographer.
Something I always wanted to do was become a travel photographer. And while I've had the honor of traveling periodically for weddings, this week made me emotional.
Elizabeth and Ryan (sweetest couple EVA) invited me out to Colorado to capture their big day. Which I was so excited and grateful for! I went out two days early to settle in and prep for the wedding.
I had a little time to explore. I went to Rocky Mountain National Park (somewhere I've been lucky enough to visit several times) and had some time to take everything in. Not just the insane scenery, but just take it in emotionally.
I found myself crying every day 😂 happy tears. Just a very full circle moment that this is my 10th year full time, and not only do I still absolutely love my job, but I'm still getting insane opportunities to grow as an artist.
I had so many fears about going full time. And I wish I could go back and tell my 25 year old self that not only is it all going to work out, it's going to be amazing and everything you hoped it would be. Just really, really grateful that I get to do what I love so much and that it's all working out.
How lucky am I?!
(For the record, I would have been happy doing Elizabeth and Ryan's wedding anywhere because they're wonderful people, but the fact that it was Colorado was the cherry on top of an amazing day. ) Can't wait to share photos soooooon!
