I absolutely LOVE when couples want to make their session unique to them. Your love story doesn’t look exactly like everyone else’s, so why should your engagement photos?

Now booking Back to School mini sessions!! 🍎

📚DATE: August 1st

📚TIME: 5:30pm-7:30pm (You must reserve your specific 10 minute time slot within this time period)

📚COST: $50

📚 LOCATION: Ocala, Florida (The specific location will be sent to you upon booking)

📚 YOU RECEIVE: 10 minute session, 5-10 edited digital images by August 8th.

The set-up and props will be provided by me, including a chalkboard for your child to hold with their grade on it. That being said, you are more than welcome to bring one personal item to be included in the photo session if you’d like.

Possible personal items to bring:

🍎 A favorite book

I love doing this with my own kids! Posing them with one of their favorite books of the year can be such a sweet way to remember what they loved reading at this particular age. If you don’t want to bring a specific book, no worries! I will have a couple childhood favorites that can be used by anyone.

🍎 A sports item

Does your child enjoy playing basketball, softball, or football? Feel free to bring one item like this to the session to be included in one of the photos!

🍎 A favorite stuffed animal

This is especially sweet for the littlest ones. Bringing their favorite stuffed animal to be included in a photo or two not only will make a cute addition to their photos, but may also help them feel more comfortable as their photos are being taken.

It’s officially been one month since launching Carie Moore Photography!

In honor of this, I’ll be offering a 25% discount for all photo sessions (excluding mini sessions) from now until tomorrow at noon. Sessions must be booked by tomorrow at 12pm, but can be scheduled for any future date.

3 things you’ll never hear me say to your kids if you book a family session with me:

“Say cheese!”

🤍Why? Genuine smiles created through genuine joy and connection. They aren’t forced. My goal is to make space in your session for that real joy and connection to shine through.

“Be still.”

🤍Why? Movement is always welcome! Kids don’t like to sit still. They like to run and play. My goal is for your child to actually ENJOY the session, so movement and play are intentionally built into it. Plus, some of the sweetest shots come from a child who is twirling, jumping, or running into their parent’s arms.

“You have to (anything they don’t want to do).”

🤍Why? Again, family photo sessions are meant to be FUN! Kids, like their caregivers, deserve to feel comfortable, relaxed, and even joyful while getting their photos taken. If they are forced to pose or smile a certain way that they don’t like, that will immediately dull the joy. The best photos happen when kids are relaxed and happy, and I’m there to cultivate and capture those moments.

Family sessions can and should be fun, relaxed, and playful! 🫶🏻

There is something so sweet about this age, when Mommy is their whole world, their safe place, the one they run to for everything. They aren’t quite babies but they also aren’t quite big kids yet.

Toddlerhood is such a short phase of childhood. Sometimes it’s nights of interrupted sleep, but because a little one feels that the safest place to rest is in your arms. It’s days spent chasing after a little one who seems to never run out of energy, but the joy on their face at just existing and playing in this world keeps you going. It’s making space for big feelings- lots of them- but being thankful that you’re the one they run to when the big feelings show up.

Toddlerhood is so many things. It’s snuggles and bedtime stories, giggles and tears, kisses and dancing wherever they go…and maybe sometimes they remind you to dance too.

What a privilege it is to capture the genuine joy and love of this stage of childhood. Toddler mommy and me sessions will always have my heart. ❤️

It is wonderful when we can personalize your photos to be perfectly unique to you. I loved that this sweet family wanted to bring their fishing poles for their family session. 🤍
