This is my second attempt at creating the image I see in my head of these two incredible Friesians. I even considered a composite, but their expressions are different when they’re together.

Still not there yet.

Maybe the third time will be the charm.

When people think it’s weird that I own 5 horses and I don’t ride anymore. 🤷🏼‍♀️ This is everything!! I get more happiness from horses now than I ever did from all the years that I competed. I didn’t know it was possible to love horses even more than I always have. Celebrating and supporting equestrians like Sandra just makes me giddy with delight. I wish every Saturday evening could be like this Saturday. Watching .official and play in the pasture, freely expressing their joy is impossible to translate into words. My heart is full. 🖤🖤

Soon summer will be blazing hot in Florida and I will finally have a chance to edit the 9 million photos I’ve taken 🤷🏼‍♀️ — but before we get there, I have one more weekend of photo shoots and these two are on the list. 🖤🖤 The incredible multi world champion Friesian, Co Fan S of Little River Friesians and my very own Nico the Friesian These two have only met each other a few times, but they were fast friends although Cor sometimes has to remind Nico that he is the elder statesman 🤣 Soon Tallahassee 🇺🇸

I will never get enough of these two. 💜💙 Besties, Vega LRF and Tempest LRF of Little River Friesians always bring the magic. The complications of lighting both horses as they’re moving and adding in color gels is something I just want to try again and again. I’ll be back with these two beauties on Memorial Day weekend 💜💙
