I don't normally post extremely personal items, but I would like to make an exception this once. As we approach the end of our first year without Morey Raiskin, perhaps we could all take an hour our or so out of our day to go to the blood bank of personal choice and donate blood with his memory in mind. Blood transfusions were such a part of Morey's journey and we were always so grateful for the anonymous blood donors who enabled those many transfusions. We can't bring Morey back but we can give that gift forward to others for whom blood is so very vital. Much love to McKenna Foster and Addison Foster who have inspired this post by their example.
