I am a lifestyle portrait photographer who specializes in working with women & their families! It took me a while, but I recently discovered that I need to work with women because I am a woman myself and can identify with many of the challenges we face everyday. Whether we are dealing with extreme insecurities, self consciousness, or body image issues, I have been there. As a woman, I am sensitive

to those feelings and it is my goal to relieve you of any of those feelings for the time we spend together, and I can pretty much promise you that you will leave your session a different woman in one way or another. Whether you book me for your wedding, a bo***ir, portrait, family, or maternity session one thing always remains the same; I photograph you as you are in this moment and you are good enough. Life is too short to continue pushing off portrait or bo***ir sessions until you “lose the weight” or look the way you think you should. WELCOME TO HOT SUMMER NIGHTS ✨

For those of you who have been here for a while, you may remember a time when one of my favorite parts of my work was building little worlds.

Dreaming up concepts. Designing sets. Testing new lighting. Creating experiences that transported my clients somewhere else entirely—a place where they could step outside of everyday life and become the main character for a moment.

Over the years, I took a step back from that work as I recalibrated, evolved, and found my way back to what inspires me most.

Hot Summer Nights feels like a return to everything I used to love creating—but through the lens of who I am now.

More intentional.
More cinematic.
More soulful.

Not only have I grown as a photographer and a human, but I’ve evolved my skill set to include trying out actual set design and set building. I am learning a lot about myself and how to build a world within the constraints of a single room, but oh my god I am so in love. When I build the Heartbreaker set, I took a step back and actually felt really fu***ng proud of myself for the first time in a while. I have a hard time with restraining my impulsivity and my impulsivity sometimes stops me from doing the things I want because I get overwhelmed by the process.

This was one of the first times I researched materials thoroughly. Had a blue print of sorts for the set plan. And then ex*****on wasn’t perfect — I was humbled a ton. But when I actually went into design mode, it didn’t take much time.

Hot Summer Nights is a collection of little worlds inspired by vintage Americana, rock & roll romance, and the women who leave a lasting impression wherever they go.

❤️ Heartbreaker - a low light, leopard print adorned lounge vibe that feels like a scene from a Tarantino film.

🚐 Little Runaway - my 1970 VW bus is the set. We’ll use lighting that mixes early evening delight pouring through my garage and a warm orange glow that feels like sunset on the coast

Thank you for helping me achieve a goal I set for myself. It feels emotional and like something I want to share about but also keep to myself as I really just want the focus to be on my gratitude above all. I never imagined this happening if I’m being honest.

I share that because I think we all need the reminder to keep going. Everything I’ve built has come from resilience, hard work, and believing in myself even when things felt uncertain. So this specific success feels incredibly special to me.

When I look at this photo, I feel like I can finally see the light returning to my soul.

Story time 🫶🏼

There were months recently where business felt painfully quiet. I launched multiple ideas that completely flopped. I questioned whether I could realistically keep doing this full time. I silently felt like I was in my flop era or if the universe was telling me something I was unwilling to listen to. At one point, things were slow enough that I had to cancel my Pilates membership because it felt irresponsible to keep paying for it. That was a pretty low moment because Pilates was also what helped me through a lot of the hardest life stuff.

Before canceling, I had an idea and randomly asked the studio owner if she’d be open to trading membership for photography/social media work instead.

She said yes.

Then she offered me a desk position too. I immediately said yes and welcomed a third job to my life 😅

Working at the desk and spending more time at the studio with the instructors, I realized a quiet little though “maybe I’ll be a Pilates instructor someday” was actually something I really wanted to seriously consider. And now we’re here. But had I not taken the opportunity to ask for help. Had I not said yes to the extra work when I already felt at my max. Had I chosen to stay stuck — I know for sure I wouldn’t be here doing this today.

I think what I’m trying to say is:sometimes people only see the moment things start working again — not the months of doubt, rejection, fear, or trying to hold yourself together behind the scenes.

So if you’re in a season where things feel slow, confusing, disappointing, heavy, or uncertain… you are absolutely not alone in that.

Honestly, even I’m shocked these Summer Bo***ir Minis filled as quickly as they did after the start of this year. But for the first time in a while, I feel like I can see the light. And that’s worthy of celebrating too.

My gratitude is bigger than words can say. Thank you for supporting me, booking with me, sharing my work, encouraging me, believing in me, or simply being here 🤍

Last week I officially got the title back for my 1970 VW bus, Sadie. I had to buy it from my ex which is wild considering I paid for it when we were together but that’s not important. What’s important is this little slip of paper represents a continued movement forward into freedom from that chapter I am so ready to close. Another box checked in the ongoing list of things that live rent free in my brain. And now Sadie? She’s mine.

Last night I was feeling a way about myself and my body and I had the idea to go get creative with her in my garage. I cried. I set up a single $50 light from Amazon and made it look like the sun at sunset — oh how amazing it feels to watch a sunset while sitting in Sadie. I just wanted to recreate that energy and feeling as much as I could from my garage with what I had — the $50 light and dwindling “May Grey”daylight at 7pm.

You guys. This big chunk of metal means a lot to me. And I’ve sadly realized I might have to sell her which means letting go of a dream. A dream I had 7 years ago at 28 to buy and renovate a VW bus of my own. And yet despite my efforts and admitted desperation, I’ve had no real offers, and all I am left with is a belief that the universe wants me to keep her. Maybe that’s the hopeless dreamer and not the realist speaking. Maybe that’s the artist in me wanting to throw my middle fingers up to the sky and scream p**s off capitalism, let me dream bigger and live for today and today alone.

All I wanted was a bus of my own to share with others. Half of my mourns the hopes and dreams I had and how they were so short lived and I never really had the support from my partner at the time to make it happen. The other half is like — maybe the time is now?

Anyways. I love this bus. She’s not driving right now and I’m thinking it’s time to focus less on selling and more on getting her driving. More on creating with her. More on bringing love and creative energy into this space and opening up sessions with the bus, from my garage.

Life update 🤍

Over the last year, I’ve realized how deeply connected my love for photography, embodiment, confidence, healing, and movement truly are. I’m taking a leap into a new chapter alongside my photography career by pursuing Pilates teacher training — a path that feels deeply aligned with helping women feel strong, grounded, and at home in their bodies.

Some of my biggest inspiration has come from the people in my life who could benefit from Pilates the most, which has made this journey feel incredibly meaningful and personal to me.
