I want to capture their nature.
I want to capture their nurture.

In their eyes. Through their eyes.

A new photography journey I am embarking on. I have started taking mostly strangers portraits on the street and then creating an of them with the environment surrounding them in that moment. This lovely young woman was taking in a piece of Alberto Aguilar art at the Chicago Cultural Center.

I want to explore the beauty and goodness found in the eyes of our amazing human family and also what we can learn by looking through one another’s eyes and finding joy in our surroundings.

Every time I am downtown I like to swing through the Chicago Cultural Center and I always come away feeling inspired!! On this day we stumbled into this gallery and came upon the work of Alberto Aguilar

I LOVED it, and best of all it inspired me to create. This wall of women was speaking to my soul. ❤️
