I had some anxiety going into this session of 17 people, including four babies and three little kids. It disappeared as soon as they all showed up super relaxed, with a case of White Claws, ready to go with the flow.

they’re a perfect example of how your attitude can affect your session. No one was overly stressed about getting the perfect photo with everyone smiling at the camera. Everyone stayed relaxed even when babies started crying or a toddler needed a snack. It was a blast and honestly one of my favorite extended family sessions I’ve ever done.

The ode to The Grateful Dead tie-dye shirts at the end was the cherry on top.

I had a mom ask me recently if it stresses me out when clients get wet during their sessions. Honestly, I prefer it. Have fun, stop worrying about your outfits, mess with your kids a bit. It always works out.
