August 23rd, 2026🤍
🧸I had my sweet Braxton 3 years ago,
🎉I launched this business 2 years ago,
🏡We moved into our house 1 year ago.
My children are ultimately what drove me pick up a camera in the first place. With 3 boys life moves fast. I found myself forgetting to schedule the photo sessions that I desperately wanted to have for our memories. If you know me (like, REALLY know me) then you know I'm a quick learner and pretty crafty.💁🏼♀️
It started with the idea I'd just take pictures of my own family, maybe a few outdoorsy things--make this a fun and rewarding hobby. Most photographers I've come to realize are born this way!😂 I learned fast and fell in love with my camera(obviously). Viewing the world in such a different perspective ignited a fire inside of me that I knew I HAD to make this something more than just an occasional thing. After all, these lenses don't pay for themselves!😅 Having something for myself was new. Something totally mine that I could do quite literally whatever I wanted with. As a mom, that's so important and as an individual, a necessity.
Today holds such a special spot in my heart for so many reasons. I can't wait to see how this next year builds off of this one. This past year in business has been my biggest yet--though if you had said this 3 months ago I would NOT have believed you!😂
My children are my world and I'm so blessed to be their mother. Having this new perspective through the lens has allowed me so many opportunities to watch them grow. I've captured moments in a perspective of who they are, what they love, and who they are becoming. That is the most precious thing as a mother. Not just the smiling, "say cheese!", snapshots--Though those are pretty great too😉
If you've read this far, THANK YOU for supporting me and thus supporting my family🫶🏻 This tax year isn't over yet, and there's more work to be done!
Here's to another year that I'll see you through the viewfinder📷✨
