Family pictures can feel like a big expense. I get that. 🤍

But one thing I’ve learned is that the older a photo gets, the more valuable it becomes.
You may not think twice about the way your little one reaches for your hand right now, how your toddler still fits perfectly on your hip, or the way your kids laugh when they’re together.

But one day, those tiny details will be the things you wish you could go back and see just one more time.

That’s why I’ll always see family photos as an investment.

Not just in pictures.

In your memories. Your story. Your people exactly as they are right now.

Because this season is changing faster than you realize, and you deserve to have something that helps you remember it. 🤍

Stop trying to make sure your kids are “perfect” before your session🤍

Maybe you’ve spent the whole car ride saying, “Remember to smile!”

Maybe you’ve packed the snacks, the treats, and a promise of ice cream if everyone cooperates.

Maybe five minutes into the session, your toddler runs the opposite direction, your preschooler suddenly decides they hate pictures, and you can already feel yourself getting stressed.

Sound familiar?

Here’s the good news: your kids do not have to perform for me.

They don’t have to stand perfectly still, smile on command, or act like completely different children for an hour.

As a mom of 4 myself, here’s what I’ve learned:

Let them be little.

Let them move.

Let them laugh.

Let them be shy at first.

Let them warm up in their own time.

The pictures my clients always love the most are the ones where everyone is just being themselves.

So instead of coaching your kids to be perfect, just come ready to love on them, play with them, and enjoy your family.

The little things are never really little. 🤍

How tiny their perfect little hands and feet are. Their favorite toy. The wedding rings. The perfume you wore. The flowers.

Those are always some of my favorite things to capture because they are usually the things you miss the most later.

After a little time soaking up newborn snuggles and adjusting to life as a family of six, I’m officially back behind the camera 🤍

Maternity leave was such a sweet season, but I’m so excited to be creating again, seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and capturing all those sweet sessions and events!

My books are open, and I can’t wait to see what this next season holds! Let’s create something special together 📸
