"Photography is the story I fail to put into words" -Destin Sparks Hi! I'm Amanda. I am a mom, wife and photographer. He had a love for music like no other.

I found myself seeing so much beauty in the world around me that I felt the need to capture it! Luckily, I was given my dad's camera after he passed away and still use it to this day! I still get teary-eyed when I realize that I was given a gift that I didn't know I would need one day. I like to think he somehow knew all those years ago. So when naming my business, it only seemed right to honor hi

m and his gift to me. I was raised on 70's and 80's rock. One of his all time favorite artists was Tom Petty! Some of my most vivid memories with my dad are us listening to Free Fallin' off the Full Moon Fever album. I can still hear him quietly signing it to himself and feel the peace and joy the song brought to him. So I combined the name of the song and the album, and thus Falling Moon Photography was born. I can't wait to see what we can create! I hope to talk to you soon!

🌙 Live grows best in little houses like this!

This session had it all! Christmas tree glow, toddler giggles, tiny messes in a beautiful kitchen but most of all an absolutely stunning family that exuded so much love. The perfect session! Thank you to the Harris Family for having me! It was such an honor!

🌙You belong among the wild flowers!

These are some of my favorite people on the planet and I’m so thankful I got to take these pictures of them 🥹

I’ve gotten a ton of questions about photography lately. Yes. I am still a photographer. I always will be. It’s written in my soul. It lights a fire in me that nothing else can. I LOVE photography. I have simply adjusted what it looks like for now.

My boys need me at home. We tried daycare and it didn’t work out. So full time business owner/ boss babe will take a back seat to mom. Because that’s the most important job to me. Advertising was sucking the life and joy out of me anyway. My current advertising plan is 100% word of mouth. I have met so many wonderful people here in OKC that if I book a referral from 10% of them, I will be the most fiscally successful and busy I’ve ever been. So thanks for sharing, connecting and cheering me on! Much love!

Think of the collective as the umbrella over everything I create—whether that’s storytelling through photography, stitching cozy pajamas for my kids, or growing a garden that inspires our everyday joy. My heart is in making and sharing things that spark connection, creativity, and memory-making.
