A few snapshots from the Carreon’s maternity session back when things were still green 🌿 We’ve since done sweet baby Stella’s newborn portraits and I don’t know where the time has gone!!

Now that the big news is out, here are some snap shots from Kalea’s announcement gallery 🕊️♥️ More and more friends are choosing not to share their sweet babies’ faces on socials, and wonder how that works when you want to get photos for your wall AND for the gram. The answer: we get creative!! (My favorite🤩)

It’s actually such a fun way to change my perspective in session planning, then scout out little moments during the session that frame your family in a way that feels natural but doesn’t show your little one’s face.

This session is a perfect example of including the entire family without pushing your boundaries as a mama ♥️

Jada and her precious crew! 🤸 She said upfront she’s ready to just follow the kids’ lead and document their family as they are, nothing too forced and minimal stress. That’s exactly how what we did and I absolutely love the energy and joy in this gallery!

Two things were clear in our session planning for Karley & Dylan: first that they wanted these photos to feel natural and laid back, and second that they love movies. As a nod to one of their favorite pastimes (aside from the gym) we did a little movie theater Photo Booth vibe at the end and they’re just perfect 🥹

Now to get these two married!!

The more the merrier when it comes to newborn sessions! Inviting the whole family to join in on baby’s first photos can be an incredible bonding experience for the older siblings.

Sound chaotic? It truly doesn’t have to be. I’m not there to take the photos and leave you hanging on gathering the troops. I take a proactive role in guiding your session and speaking directly to the big kids to keep them engaged, having fun, and feeling like little creative directors all while you enjoy your newborn snuggles.

We throw on your family’s favorite tunes and take a super laid back and natural approach to capture genuine connection with a few good ol’ posed portraits sprinkled throughout 🥰
