A single journey holding both joy and grief.

Kristin and Steve are friends my husband and I have known since college. In October, they received the joyful news that they’re expecting a baby boy… and in December, the heartbreaking news of Kristin’s breast cancer diagnosis.

We did an at-home family session, and I captured these moments shortly after chemo began—right before Kristin started losing her hair.

Noa is spunky, full of personality, and already so proud. She’s going to be the very best big sister to baby Eli. And Kristin is a fighter in every sense of the word.

If you’re a prayer warrior, please lift up Kristin, Steve, Noa, and baby Eli as they walk this road together. Believing fiercely in healing, peace, and God’s nearness in every step of this journey 🤍
