We've been a bit quiet on social media this past few months....because we've been busy in the field. When you start a new business you never know quite where it will take you. For us, we are carving out a niche in undeveloped land parcel assessments. Flying the Mavic 3 Pro to get good imagery at various altitudes, then flying the Matrice 4E to get a good hi-res ortho. Here's a double parcel mission from earlier in the summer out near Ada, OK.

We've been testing different mapping software over the past few weeks, using our own flown imagery, and data available online. We keep coming back to Pix4D. This map is created from imagery provided by Pix4D, a large quarry in southern Switzerland not far from the Italian border. This a snapshot of a127 image orthomosaic with some zoomed snapshots to demonstrate resolution.

Orthomosaic map of a 10 acre AirBnB site in Harrah, OK. 330 images, 180ft altitude, processed with Pix4D Mapper. Almost down to 1 inch resolution accuracy - FB doesn't have the zoom capability to demonstrate, so download the image to view/Zoom.
