Things I don’t care about as your Photographer 👇🏼

I don’t care if your kids are wild. I promise you, I really don’t! Toddlers will be toddlers. Meltdowns will be meltdowns. Don’t ever apologize for them! Sometimes the candid shots of them playing turn out to be the best ones you want to frame later on!

I don’t care about your hairy legs, your cellulite, your stretch marks, your acne, NOTHING. You are beautiful just the way you are. Not to mention, I’m almost 7 months pregnant. When do you think the last time I shaved was? 😂

I don’t care if you’re awkward in front of the camera. It’s my job to pose you & help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, not yours. If you know me, you know those hands are my biggest struggle! But I’ll put you in 5 different poses until those hands look just right & not stiff 😅

I don’t care if your partner hates to be Infront of the camera & looks miserable. Because guess what? He’s going to love the photos & make it his cover photo for the next 3 years anyways 😉

What I do care about is that you feel comfortable, welcomed, supported, and hyped up the whole time you’re In front of the camera. My biggest priority is the little things, not the messiness in between 🤍

We’re almost half way through the Year already, so you know what that means…. Christmas in July is coming! 🥳🎄🎅🏼❄️

If you’re new here or have no idea how this works, during this time I’ll be releasing all of my upcoming holiday mini sessions for Fall + Christmas, and booking links will officially open! These sessions fill incredibly quickly… And by quickly, I mean 98% of them are fully booked by September! Happy Mothers Day 🩵

In 2023, we decided we were ready to start trying for a baby. I went into that season full of hope, believing it would happen quickly and easily. But after months of hoping & praying, heartbreak found us in April 2024 when I experienced a miscarriage after 8 months of trying to conceive.
To say it changed me & is a type of grief you never grow out of would be an understatement. Infertility and loss have a way of reshaping your heart, testing your faith, and making you question when, if, or how your time will come. Then, God has a way of coming around & showing you that after all of that waiting, the time is now.

I went through 2.5 Years of infertility. We spent thousands of dollars on tests, blood work, medications, just to be told that they don’t know why I’m not getting pregnant. I thought I would never get the Mom title. I prayed so many nights for God to take the desire for children out of my heart if it wasn’t meant to be apart of my journey. But he heard my prayers and gave me the biggest blessing I could’ve asked for.

Fast forward to now, I’m 6.5 months pregnant with my rainbow baby boy & I never take a single moment for granted. I’ve had the smoothest pregnancy & I’ve seriously enjoyed it so much, it’s like I was meant to be a Mama all along. 🥹 Everything I’ve ever dreamed of has finally came true.

If you are in a season of waiting, just know I see you. The days feel long and even in those moment you feel like giving up, don’t. Your time is coming, even when you least expect it. Sending so much love to every mama out there this Mothers Day 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

This week, we celebrate your hard work, your dedication to caring for others, and the ability to manage so much while also going Home every night and taking on those responsibilities. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all the ways you go above and beyond not just today, but everyday. 🫶🏻

Since I have so many new faces on here, I figured it was time for an updated Introduction post! 📸

Hi! My name is Megan. I’m a 26 year old soon to be boy Mom, located right in the OKC Metro. I’m a dog Mom to the cutest Golden Retriever ever, and when you can’t find me behind the camera, 9/10 times I’m probably eating Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream from Braums & rewatching Friends for the millionth time. 😆

I specialize in Maternity and Family Portraits, but I love capturing just about any and everything you want documented forever! My top priority is creating a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident in your beauty in front of the camera.
