A few recent favorite pieces of content pulled from a new client’s shoot and social plan 🤩

Really excited about some of the brands we’re getting to partner with lately and helping bring more consistency, atmosphere, and intention to their existing online presence.

The best projects to me always feel collaborative. We help build the visuals and strategy that not only look good, but actually feel aligned with your brand and the story you’re already telling.

One of my favorite summer clients when I lived in DC was …these are the kind of summer visuals that make you want to book the reservation immediately. 🦪🍋

This is the stuff I love creating most for hospitality brands: imagery that feels alive, elevated, a little indulgent, and impossible to scroll past.

Seafood towers, cold drinks, golden light, fast movement, loud tables, texture everywhere. Summer content should make people feel something before they ever walk through the door.

I would love to step into some more hospitality content creation this summer for you!

In our opinion, the strongest brand imagery often whispers instead of shouts. We’re talking about mood, texture, emotion, restraint. That’s where the story lives. Vibes, baby.

These shots with our model felt like a study in softness, shadow, and feeling, rooting the brand even deeper into the online world.

We love visual storytelling for brands that want to be remembered, not just seen.

BTS ➡️ Final frames

Here is a list of things I’m thinking through during a moment like this:
- lighting
- focus
- fast enough shutter speed
- movement
- anticipating a shake, a stir, a garnish…
- mixture of vertical and horizontal
- crop wide, shoot tight
- reflections, spills, splashes, background

All in the few seconds it takes the bartender to make the drink 😅

I nail it every time now because I’ve been in this position for over a decade. The process shots are just as important to your restaurant brand as the hero shots and it’s essential for them to be on your list and for your photographer and filmmaker to get it right the first time and move onto the next! 🍸

Something I think about a lot as a photographer is how an image can make you feel.

I just met with a new client today to prep for an upcoming shoot and most of the questions I asked her were centered around how she wants her audience to feel when they come across her content.

Taking a concept and turning it into a moment of pause, evoking emotion, and pulling someone in is all part of the photographer’s job that doesn’t really get talked about, it’s just a built in part of the craft.

I’m always over here quietly taking my fine art background and implementing it into my prep work for your photos, my strategy for your marketing, and overall how I see this whole world we’re building together.

As a food and beverage photographer it’s the best feeling when you see the chef or bartender bringing out something to photograph that you know will be gorgeous and incredible to capture on camera.

This was obviously one of those moments, as so many are at , where I was involuntarily smiling as this beauty came my way and got set down in front of my lens.

She’s a star.
