I had the honor of photographing my mom last month ❤️
She’s always been a little shy in front of the camera, but I’m so grateful she said yes to stepping in front of my lens and letting herself be seen.

These images mean more to me than I can put into words. Proof that we all deserve photos of ourselves, just as we are, in this season. And if you ask me, she is simply beautiful. Nancy Mudd

I had the honor of capturing Ethan’s kindergarten teacher’s headshots! Last year she was named Olathe Teacher of the Year, and now she’s waiting to find out if she’ll be Kansas Teacher of the Year!

She needed updated headshots for her submission, and I was so happy to do them for her. These honors are truly so well deserved - she is loving, patient, fun, and endlessly caring. Her students are incredibly lucky to have her, and Ethan still talks about how much he misses her!

So grateful for the chance to photograph someone who pours so much heart into her classroom.

One of the most special things about being a photographer is being invited into a family’s story time and time again, to capture their milestones and watch them grow. I’ve been photographing Corbin since he was about six years old, and now he’s a high school senior! Time truly flies.

Corbin is such an inspiring guy; he’s hardworking, kind-hearted, and always going out of his way to make others feel special. Just ask my 7-year-old how often he’ll come out to play tag, toss a football, or show off a cool sword.

Corbin, you’re going to do incredible things. The journey is just getting started, and I’m so grateful I got to capture this chapter for you.

Every time I step back into photographing families, I’m reminded why I fell in love with this work in the first place. It’s not about perfect poses, it’s about connection, laughter, and the love you can feel through the photos. So thankful families trust me to tell their story.

LOVE LOVE this family! I have watched these kids grow up from littles. The whole family is such a blessing in our lives and I am so thankful we are neighbors. We did this shoot last week at their farm and it was so beautiful there. They were so brave because this was one of the first 30 degree days we had. You would never know it from the photos though! I loved capturing them again.

After a loooong break, this photographer is back in business! Hi, I’m Lucinda, but you can call me Cindy. I’ve got a BA in photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca. I have years of experience capturing all sorts of special moments for families and also working at the Hallmark Cards photo studio. I took a break to raise my adorable kids, but now that they’re off to school, I’m ready to get back behind the lens. Let’s create some unforgettable memories together! I had the honor of photographing my niece a few weeks ago! I can’t believe she’s a HS Senior this year!! She is such a loving, smart, beautiful caring, driven and I could seriously just go on and on. I am so excited to see where she goes in this next phase of life. Love you!
