Established in 2005, Jennifer Starr is an internationally published pet photographer serving the Kansas City area and founder of Going with Grace, her end-of-life pet photography divisionā€”recently named Best End of Life Pet Photography Service for 2026. Jen founded Going with Grace in 2012, encouraging pet parents to document their beloved furry companions when their journey over the rainbow bridge is near.

Roo crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and my heart breaks for his momma.

Just one week ago, I had the honor of photographing Roo and the beautiful bond they shared. Some sessions stay with you long after you pack up your cameraā€”and this is one I won't forget.

They both touched my heart, and I feel incredibly grateful that I was able to preserve a few more memories of their life together.

Have you ever seen an automatic pet food feeder with a camera built-in? This even has the ability to feed multiple dogs with different diets. I am so glad we upgraded.
