How lucky am I that I get to meet so many amazing people? and all because they want me to take their picture!

I'm definitely not immune to imposter syndrome. That feeling that maybe I'm not as good as I thought. But then I look at the photos I've taken and I'm so proud I've been able to capture such beautiful memories for many, many people.

These families have trusted me to preserve precious moments, and I'm confident when I tell you that it's worth it ❤️

FINALLY! It's SPRING!

Unfortunately, my house has been hit with bronchitis so we are fairly cooped up. Trying to enjoy the sun while we can and get a bit of work done.

Other than illness, I'm so excited to jump back into the photography busy season! I'm open for booking family sessions, maternity, newborn, milestones, you name it!

Some of the most important and meaningful work I've done is with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.

Through the years, my goal with photography has evolved into being more than photographs but as a way to connect with families.

That includes families going through the unimaginable loss of a baby. Being able to provide images, comfort, and support to even just one family is priceless.

The more volunteers, the more families we can provide with portraits they'll treasure forever.

Tonight, a family will ask, “Is there someone who can come take photos?”

We want the answer to always be yes.
But sometimes it isn’t.

Sometimes there is no volunteer available, and a goodbye happens with nothing to hold onto later.

You could be the reason that answer changes.

The daily struggle. The cozy couch vs. the wet, wild world outside.

I felt it hard this winter. That tug between staying dry… and missing the light and adventure.

So I went to talk to the folks at Fern Gully Forest School—the ones who see a downpour and think “classroom!” What they shared changed how I see the gray sky.

It’s not about braving the weather. It’s about rewilding our wonder. And it starts with a single, magical reframe: “There’s no bad weather, just like there's no bad emotions.”

I wrote down their tips like the mindset shifts, the gear hacks, and simple, joyful ways to find magic in the mud with your kids. Because winter isn’t a season to wait through. It’s a season to meet.
