Following five years of mentorship under portrait photographer John Gerecht, I established Noctem Photography — a brand born from a love of the shining brilliance within the night sky. Since then, my work has earned numerous international publications and built an expansive,

✨💙💜✨ Tessa and Stephen's wedding colors were my favorite!! I made a macro scene for their wedding bands using their table décor; inspired by how the fabric flows like a soft stream, with the light dancing off the gems like refractions of light through water, carrying the precious treasures onward.

Tessa and Stephen have shared almost two decades of love, now certified on paper but physical mediums pale in comparison to the spiritual bond that a life of healthy partnership in action forges. It has been a pleasure seeing all the adventures these two have gone through across the years, exploring the world together and finding sanctuary in each other's company anywhere life takes them.

Whenever I puppy sit miss Princess Lilly I make it a priority to get some cute shots for her mama Emily Fales. Usually it's out on a walk with one of her pretty dresses, but this time I wanted to do a special photo session since it was the longest time Lilly would be staying with us and I knew she would be missed dearly until being reunited with her mama. Lilly has such a beautiful coat and the cutest little face! Human kids always get something like school pictures to capture them at their best, and our fur babies deserve the same 💖

Many of the best scenes captured at a wedding are candid moments when the newlyweds are taking in the occasion unaware of being captured in still images; Onlookers will see a photographer burrowing through curtains of foliage, while the lens sees a story of real tenderness and connection. Giving the couple space to live in the moment is vital for fully experiencing their special day and elevates the final collection of images by including unplanned real moments.

Mariam has been in front of my camera many times since the formative days of Noctem Photography; to have the opportunity of capturing her in her wedding attire after all these years is a significant honor for me, and a moment I have wished on many stars for! She is a stunning bride, and a person of awe-inspiring character and demeanor. Her gown is a modified vintage treasure she tailored into a work of art that resonates with her grace and divine beauty.

Thank you for all the moments we have shared together surrounded by the laughter and joyful chaos of family shenanigans, delicious homemade meals, and chasing the perfect light as it shines on stunning creations; being in your circle of trust, creative projects, and lasting friendship, is something I will always cherish 💖

This portrait session marked an important milestone for me as my first opportunity to immortalize a model's beauty with my brand new Nikon Z6III and Godox Flashes & Lights gear. I'm so impressed with the seamless control and immaculate detail these tools bring to a session, and eager to share an elevated portfolio going forward 📸✨

Amy Watkins and Andy Watkins celebrated their joyful union at the Centralia Square Grand Ballroom and Hotel last month, with perfect timing for us to capture moments in the golden light of the setting sun.

These two show the world that a best friend is the best place for the heart to reside. May your lives together be filled with the kind of peace the world could never shake, and sprinkled with uncontrollable laughter 💖

It's been a few years since Lindsay McCoy Model and I visited John Gerecht's studio to create our tribute session to The Last Unicorn; sometimes life slips by faster than we realize, and it's so easy to lose sight of creative projects in the chaos of adulthood and new inspiration drawing our focus left and right. The stars finally aligned for me to indulge in this project once again to make magic out of our teamwork ✨

For our studio setup we used a grid light for the face, a hair light, and a blue fill light to create rich dynamic shadows.

No A.I. generated imagery was used in the making of this photo. Royalty free stock images of clouds were used with composite layering effects.
