I wanted to take a moment to say hi. I’m Marissa Irene, an elopement photographer based in Oregon. Sometimes I get so busy that I forget to pause, look around, and realize, this is the life I once dreamed of. What started as a love for weddings has taken me all over the U.S., to Mexico, and hopefully one day soon, Europe.

This is truly my dream job. Every elopement, every wedding, every photograph still makes me a little teary-eyed. Whether I’m driving you to your first look, helping keep the timeline on track, or quietly witnessing your most meaningful moments, I’m endlessly thankful. Being trusted with one of the most important days of your life is something I never take lightly. To witness your love and celebrate alongside your people is such an honor.

To those who have supported me over the years, thank you. I love you. You mean the world to me. I’ve photographed high school friends’ weddings, my sorority sisters’ weddings, friends I’ve reconnected with, and now couples from near and far. Each story, each connection, means more than you know. I am so grateful.

Some days it feels like I’ve been doing this forever, eight years, to be exact. Other days, it feels like I’m just getting started. I’m growing, rebuilding, and gaining clarity on the life I want to live and the stories I want to tell.

The Film scans of my dreams 🤩

In 2026 I am leveling up my film game! What a way to end 2025 getting these scans back before the new year was just the cherry on top!

Film is different in every possible way. The way I shoot, edit, compose, and time the photo. There is SO much intentionality that goes into film. I love the waiting game. And the surprise and awe factor when you get the photos back!

This year has brought me so many amazing clients! Sometimes I have to *blink twice* because I can’t believe how beautiful every wedding has been.

I’m always in awe of the thought and care that goes into curating such a special day. Martha & Mathew’s day was no exception. They opted for a simple, yet timeless design for their tables and really let the venue speak for itself for their ceremony!

If you’re getting married in 2026 and stressing out over decor… don’t! This wedding is a great example of how chic, minimal decor can look 🧡
