The seasons of life change so much faster than we realize.❤️

One day you’re holding them in your arms, and before you know it, they’re running through the yard. The tiny hands become bigger hands. The sleepy cuddles become wild laughter. The little routines you thought would last forever quietly become memories.

Someone pinch me.🥹

Because I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever get used to this.

Yesterday, after the long drive, hiking, the sore legs, and all the effort it took to get there, I found myself standing in a place so beautiful I almost couldn’t believe it was real.

I get to witness people choose each other. I get to stand beside couples as they promise their lives to one another, and then I get to freeze a tiny piece of that story for them to hold onto forever. I get to be there for the quiet moments, the happy tears, the laughter, the little glances, and all the pieces of a day that somehow become memories they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words what a blessing that is.

Not only that, but the Pacific Northwest constantly leaves me speechless. Every time I think I’ve seen the most beautiful place, it somehow reminds me that there is still so much more to discover. And getting to experience those places with couples who have trusted me to capture some of the biggest moments of their lives makes it all feel even more surreal.

I am in awe.

Of this place.

Of this job.

Of the people who let me into their stories.

Of the love I get to witness.

Of the fact that I get to call this my life.

And the wildest part? These aren’t even from my camera. These are just little behind-the-scenes moments captured on my phone.🤩

It’s almost 3am and I'm stopped for a late night dinner as I head home and I’m sitting here looking through all the raw behind the scenes completely overwhelmed with gratitude. I’m exhausted, my legs are sore, and I know tomorrow I’ll probably still be feeling yesterday’s hike, but somehow I wouldn’t trade a single mile of it.

Because I got to be there.

I got to witness two people choosing each other forever in a place that felt almost too beautiful to be real.

And I got to capture it.

Sometimes I think we get so caught up in the work that we forget to stop and realize how incredibly lucky we are to be doing it.

I'm so unbelievably thankful for it all.

For the mountains.

For the couples who trust me.

For the stories I get to tell.

For the places this little camera has taken me.

What a beautiful life I get to live.

When Keara first reached out, I had to do a double-take. Her name is spelled exactly like mine (which is incredibly rare), her fiancé's name is Taylor, just like my husband, and we even live in the same city. What are the odds?! From the first moment we started chatting, we instantly clicked, and these two turned out to be some of the kindest people I've ever had the privilege of photographing.

Watching them promise forever surrounded by the mountains was such an honor. But the most beautiful part was never the view; it was the way they looked at each other, the quiet moments, the laughter, the tears, and the undeniable peace that comes from finding your person.

Reading reviews like the one Keara left me immediately reminds me why I pour my whole heart into what I do. It's never just about delivering beautiful photos; it's about creating an experience that couples will remember and cherish for the rest of their lives.

When Keara first inquired with us, I had to do a double take because not only do we share the same name, but it's spelled the exact same way too. I've honestly never met another Keara who spells it like I do! Then when she told me her fiancé's name was Taylor, I couldn't stop laughing because, as many of you know, my husband is Taylor too. Just from our interactions we had such similar personalities. From that moment on, I had a feeling this day was going to be something specialIt honestly felt like the universe was playing a funny little joke on us.
