Late post but a huge thanks to my daughters and wife for the best Father's Day I could ask for. Planes and cars and some flight sim time, slipping a 172 down at CB. I could have spent two days there! The best part was watching them pick their favorite cars and planes!

There is absolutely nothing that can prepare you for the loss of a pet. The grief is deep and navigating it just feels different. Our family said goodbye to our greyhound, Barley, after about 13 years, recently. They ARE family. Although, we took some time to continue to grieve, we all agreed the timing will be right when it's right, to think about another dog. In walked Olive Grace. No animal will replace Barley, but this process is part of our healing. She was 8 weeks old and adopted from the humane society. She's Goldendoodle and Airedale Terrier and she has captured our hearts.
