Whether you're celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or simply want some updated photos together, my goal is never to make you feel like you're performing for the camera. I want to get to know the two of you, learn what makes you laugh, and create an environment where you can simply enjoy being together. We'll talk, joke around, wander, and let the moments happen naturally. Because the best couple portraits aren't always the ones where you're perfectly posed—they're the ones where you can look at the photograph years from now and instantly remember what it felt like to be together right then. That's why we plan.

Before your wedding day, we'll work together to build a timeline and talk through how the day is going to flow. When the wedding day arrives, you shouldn't have to constantly check the clock or wonder what's happening next.

I'll help guide you.

If we're running behind, we'll adjust. If something unexpected happens, we'll figure it out. If you aren't sure where you're supposed to be, I'll tell you.

Because weddings are inherently chaotic.

Your photographer shouldn't add to the chaos. They should help calm it down.

That's why I put so much emphasis on planning before the wedding day. I want to know your timeline, your priorities, your family dynamics, and the moments that matter most to you before I ever show up with a camera. That preparation allows me to be more than someone who takes pictures. When the wedding day gets hectic, I'm there to help guide you through what's happening next, keep an eye on the timeline, and make adjustments when things inevitably change. My goal is simple: take as much stress off your shoulders as I possibly can so you can actually enjoy your wedding day.

One of the biggest things I want to give my couples isn't a photograph. It's peace of mind.

Wedding days move fast, and there are a million little things competing for your attention. My goal is for you to be able to look at me and know, “We've got this.” We'll spend time before your wedding working through the schedule, talking about the important moments, and making a plan. Then, when the day arrives, I'll help guide you through it. If we're supposed to be somewhere at 2:15, I'll make sure you know. If something changes, we'll adjust. If you aren't sure what comes next, I'll be there to help. You shouldn't have to spend your wedding day watching the clock. You should be living it.

Your wedding day is going to be chaotic. That's okay.

Something will run late. Someone will forget something. Hair and makeup might take longer than expected. A family member might disappear when it's time for photos. That's just part of a wedding day. My job isn't to pretend those things won't happen—it's to make sure you don't have to stress about them when they do. Before your wedding, we'll spend time together building a timeline and talking through the day so that when the big day arrives, you don't have to worry about what time it is or what happens next. I'll be there to guide you, keep things moving, and help take some of that weight off your shoulders. You focus on getting married. I'll help take care of the rest.

My goal is for you to forget that I'm your photographer.

Okay… maybe not completely. 😂 But I want you to get comfortable enough that the camera becomes an afterthought. When I photograph someone, I don't want our first conversation to be, “Okay, stand here and smile.” I want to get to know you first. I want to hear your stories, crack some jokes, learn your personality, and make you comfortable enough to be yourself. My favorite compliment isn't necessarily “You made me look good.” It's “I had so much fun.” Because when you feel like you're spending time with a long-lost friend instead of getting your picture taken, that's when the real you comes through.

I believe the person behind the camera matters just as much as the camera itself. That's why I don't want our time together to feel stiff, awkward, or overly rehearsed. I want to talk with you. I want to learn your story. I want to figure out what makes you comfortable and what brings out your personality. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, graduating high school, updating your headshot, or simply documenting your family, I want you to feel like you're spending time with someone you've known forever. Because the more comfortable you are, the more authentically you show up in your photographs.
