I've updated the Portrait Place Studio page to something more inclusive, since now a lot more of my work is school and league sports and now the addition of some of my design work on various materials. Now I've become Portrait Place Sports and Designs!!

That doesn't mean that I will turn away a puppy litter portrait or a senior, but now I'll feel better about adding in more of what I've been migrating towards.

Another Version! It's Addie overload! When we started photographing for this image, I couldn't decide if I liked her sitting in her letter jacket, or standing. That was the first outfit we worked with. So, since I knew it would be just too easy to do it one way, 🤷‍♀️I said - Hey, let's go with both sitting and standing. Then I'll do 2 variations of each other outfit so I could put 2 totally different versions together. By the time we got to softball and track, I was having trouble keeping it straight as to where each pose would fit into each final version. I'd commented to Addie that this was like a sudoku puzzle, I knew a 5 had to fit in someplace, but where?!
I got the first version done to post when Addie was at graduation. This one was half put together and I'd let it sit over the weekend to stew. When I came back to it this morning, a couple of tweaks and this came together like I wanted. Congratulations Addie!

WOW! had so much fun this morning with Addie. These weren't even the project I'd originally had in mind, but are a couple of ending images to give props for her college choice and sport. I foolishly did 2 variations of each pose and came up with these 2 versions. Which is your favorite? The original idea will be showing up in a few days with all of her sports! Thank you Addie for putting up with my ideas.

Hey IW ball players - going to try to keep this updated for the upcoming teams I'll be photographing for the IWYSBL.
