Some can relate. Others can only imagine, never truly knowing what it feels like. A mother’s love is something unbreakable — steady through every storm, every lesson, every chapter of life.

I was always called a ā€œmama’s boy,ā€ and honestly… I wear that with pride. Because being loved by a mother like mine is one of life’s greatest blessings.

Love you always, Mom.

With deep sorrow, we remember Chester Nez, the last surviving member of the original 29 Navajo Code Talkers, who passed away from kidney failure. Born in New Mexico in 1921, Nez endured forced assimilation at a federal boarding school where speaking Navajo was forbidden—yet the very language he was once punished for using became a decisive weapon in World War II. In 1942, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and helped develop an unbreakable code based on Navajo, using words like ā€œturtleā€ for tank and ā€œchicken hawkā€ for dive bomber. The code played a vital role in Pacific battles such as Iwo Jima, saving countless lives. With his passing, a powerful link to courage, culture, and quiet heroism is gone—but his legacy endures

Hello everyone,

Today, on Presidential Day, we take a moment to honor the leaders who helped shape our nation — men who carried the weight of responsibility, vision, and service during times of challenge and change.

But Presidential Day isn’t only about history.

It’s also about what leadership looks like today, right here in our own communities.

As a local business owner, I’ve come to understand something deeply:

Strong communities are built by people who show up.

Not just presidents…
But small business owners, educators, first responders, volunteers, and neighbors who care.

In every town across America, businesses like mine are more than services — we are part of the heartbeat of the community.

We support local events.
We create jobs.
We invest back into the people around us.
And we help bring others together during life’s most meaningful moments.

Leadership doesn’t always come from a podium in Washington.

Sometimes it comes from:
• A small storefront
• A local photographer capturing memories
• A volunteer packing boxes for deployed troops
• A mentor encouraging the next generation
• A business owner choosing integrity and service over profit alone

That’s what makes America strong.

Presidents remind us of the ideals we strive for — freedom, unity, opportunity.

But it’s everyday citizens who keep those ideals alive.

So today, I want to encourage all of us:

Let’s continue building a community where people feel supported.
Where businesses and neighbors work together.
Where respect, service, and kindness are the foundation.

Because the future of our country doesn’t only depend on who leads in government…

It depends on how we lead right here at home.

Happy Presidential Day, and thank you for allowing me to serve this incredible community.

God bless you, and God bless America.
