Attention Chattanooga drone pilots:

If you're planning to fly around Downtown Chattanooga, the North Shore, Cameron Hill, the Tennessee River, or surrounding areas, make sure you check the airspace before takeoff.

There are active Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) in place due to FIFA World Cup-related operations. Areas that may normally be open for drone flights could now be restricted.

The FAA has issued nationwide warnings regarding World Cup no-drone zones. Flying in a restricted area can lead to substantial fines, confiscation of your drone, and possible criminal penalties.

Take a few minutes to check before you launch. It's a lot easier than explaining a violation to the FAA later.

We respect their request not to fly over their property so we keep our distance. That's OK - it's beautiful even from afar! Make sure you see them during spring when the foliage is blooming and the weather is perfect.

What is "drone mapping?" It's where we take a bunch of photos looking straight down on a property then stitch them together to make one picture. In this case, over 1,700 photos turned into one large photo (like a Google map) so the client can zoom in to see high quality details. In this case, the roof of a warehouse is being inspected for potential service. We flew 175 feet above ground level to ensure best quality.
