A first look with your family 🤍

Inaara decided to do a first look with her family and it instantly became a moment I knew would forever be ingrained into my memories. It was so special to witness and document.

Her parents seeing her for the first time, the emotions, the blessings her parents offered, her siblings emotional excitement… all of it was perfect.

These are the moments I always find myself coming back to. These ones that don’t need anything, just for my clients to be fully present.

Inaara is so loved and adored in the most beautiful way by her family and it was so special to capture.

Sam & Ross 🤍

A sunset ceremony, the prettiest shades of purple, and two people completely present for every moment.

Sam and Ross’s wedding day at North Ranch Country Club was filled with thoughtful details, so much joy, and one absolutely stunning ceremony beneath a beautiful chuppah as the sun dipped behind the hills.

One of my favorite things about their day wasn’t just how beautiful everything looked, but how intentional it felt. They soaked it all in. The people, the moments, the emotions, and each other.

What a joy it was to document the beginning of this next chapter for these two!

If Julie looks familiar, there’s a good reason for that 🥹…

For the last three years, she has been right alongside me photographing so many of the weddings you’ve seen here. She has captured countless moments for my couples! So getting the chance to photograph her own wedding day at The Harper was incredibly special.

From wearing her mom’s wedding dress to incorporating Will’s grandmother’s china into the design and carrying his late father’s pocket watch, every part of their wedding day at The Harper was filled with meaning. The blue and white details were beautiful, but what made this day unforgettable were the stories behind them.

Getting to watch Julie experience a wedding day from the other side of the camera was something I’ll never forget. What an honor it was to document this chapter for two people who mean so much to me.

Joy & Garrett at The Mission Inn🤍

An intimate morning wedding at the Mission Inn surrounded by only their closest family and friends, soft gloomy skies, Garrett in his Air Force uniform, and Joy looking absolutely stunning in the most timeless A-line gown. Perfection!

So many sweet and emotional moments. It was so special to see the seat reserved for Garrett’s mom with her photo placed where she would have sat during the ceremony. Such a beautiful reminder that love is still deeply present, even in the moments where someone is missed most.

And just as the day came to an end, the sun peeked through for the last few minutes of their portraits like the perfect final touch!

Angela & Anthony 🤍

A day filled with so much intention, so many happy tears, and the kind of energy that keeps a dance floor packed all night long. Their wedding at Franciscan Gardens was absolutely beautiful, with soft pink details woven throughout the day and portraits at Mission San Juan Capistrano that felt straight out of a movie.

But honestly, my favorite part? Angela handmade every single detail you see. Every piece of this day felt personal, thoughtful, and completely true to them.

Point Dume with these two was pure magic!

Théo and Larissa brought the dreamiest energy to this Malibu session… starting on the cliffs with Larissa in that unreal low-back white gown (obsessed is an understatement) and Théo in a tan suit that fit the vibe perfectly. Coastal, elevated, effortless.

Then we made our way down to the sand, swapped into cozy outfits, kicked off our shoes, and just played as the sun set. The kind of session that feels more like a date night than a photoshoot… full of laughter, movement, and those in-between moments that make everything feel so real.

I’m so excited for their big day this summer! It’s going to be amazing 😍.

Something you’ll be seeing a lot more of this year? Reception photos!!

They deserve their own moment on my feed because honestly… they’re EPIC. This is when the real energy kicks in, the timeline loosens up, and everyone is fully in celebration mode. No two receptions are ever the same, and that’s what makes them so fun to capture and share.

Shannon and Daniel’s was easily one of the most unique I photographed last year. Instead of a traditional venue, they chose an intimate dinner at Mastro’s and it was SO them. Cozy, elevated, intentional… and still full of joy and energy in all the best ways.

For this reception, I captured everything with a single on-camera flash to preserve how their dinner actually felt and looked ✨. Using a big off-camera flash would have been super distracting to their guests, similar to why I always avoid flash (of any kind) during a ceremony, even in a dark church. The choices I make during the day aren’t just about settings, but also preserving my couple’s experience.

A moment for some of my favorite black and white images from this wedding season 🤍.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Not all images look amazing in back and white but when they do…they literally leave me speechless sometimes!

Black and white images evoke emotions for me that color just doesn’t do sometimes. My favorite part of editing a wedding day or an engagement is seeing these moments all over again!
