I just really love my clients. 🥹

I want you to feel special. I want you to feel cared for. And honestly, I want you to have a really good experience with me — not just beautiful photos at the end of it.

One of the little things I love doing for my local couples is meeting up before their wedding for coffee or juice and actually getting to know them. Because I don’t want to feel like a stranger showing up on your wedding day with a camera.

Today, one of my clients suggested we meet for ice cream instead.

Ummm… GENIUS. 😂🍦
Honestly, I wish I thought of that.

Because this is what I mean when I say it’s never just about the photos for me. I want to know you, hear about your plans, help however I can, and make sure you feel taken care of every step of the way.

But what stood out most was how much their family was woven into every part of the day.

Look at the way Emilio looks at Summer. It’s the way every bride imagines her groom looking at her as she walks down the aisle. That look of pure adoration. It was so sweet, so beautiful, and honestly, one of those moments that makes you stop and feel it right along with them.

From meeting them back in January, I could already tell these two were smitten kittens. And somehow, watching them together on their wedding day, you could feel that love had only grown.

The calm before the ceremony. The anticipation. The father-daughter first look. 😭

I was absolutely tearing up behind my camera.

Months of preparation… and suddenly, it’s here. The dress is on. The flowers are ready. The people you love most are gathered close.

Emilio and his boys. 😎

Summer, the bride, told me she wasn’t quite sure what kind of candid photos the boys would want to do. And honestly? Sometimes photos can feel like no fun at weddings. 😂

But it’s really important to me that everyone is having a good time and that the photos feel like them.

So when Summer told me the boys brought Pokémon packs, I said, “Heck yeah. Bring on the Pokémon cards.” 😂

Because the best photos aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. Sometimes they’re the moments where everyone gets to just be themselves.

And these boys? They look so fly. 😎✨

Unapologetically obsessed with Jacquelyn and Jack’s engagement session. 😍 We were so lucky with the most gorgeous sunset, but honestly, I got even luckier with the most amazing couple.

I first met Jacquelyn and Jack at Green Cheek Beer Co - Oceanside when they were hosting a bridal show. I was doing a raffle for a little bride basket + an engagement session, and somehow I ended up pulling Jacquelyn’s name!!

Here’s the funny part… she wasn’t actually engaged quite yet. 😂 It was in the works.

A few months later, I got a text from Jacquelyn letting me know the question had officially been popped and they were ready to get in front of my camera!! 😍

They were absolute naturals, and the chemistry between these two was OFF THE CHARTS. 🥹 You could see how comfortable they were together, which made this session so much fun to photograph.

What a fun evening with such a fun couple. I’m so glad that little raffle brought us together, and I already can’t wait for their wedding day! 🥹❤️
