[Repost] 09/11/2011 Lulu entered our lives unexpectedly. She was our doggo as man and wife. At only 9 months old aka her teenage years, she was tossed aside, pulled one day off the euth list and ended up with us (after living with several other families). She was the best dog but she was also hard work! We worked with Jen and learned how to understand and protect her. We promised we would love her no matter what and held her close to our hearts for 14 years - 6 months - 6 days until her last breath 03/16/2026. In return, she gave us unconditional love, fierce loyalty, joy and love as deep as the ocean! She always smiled so big and as times passed and we saw that smile fade, we knew our precious time was coming to an end; we just needed her to tell us. We are all cried out and know that it will take time. I hope she knows just how much we loved her. Romp in paradise, Baby Girl, until we see you again. We miss you so so much.

What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
