Love that this photo is the lovely Shawntel’s background! Their wedding was so stunning!! Also, pretty sure this woman doesn’t age a day.

Not going to lie…There are some families that hold extra special places in my heart. The Kangases are one such family. I’ve know Jesse since high school. It took us awhile to become friends but eventually he became like a brother to me (he even rescued me off the side of the road when my car broke down once). He had to meet Dustin and give the “okay” before we got married.
And then Jesse met Tori…I liked her immediately and still like her more than him! ;) The last photo in the series is of me and Jesse on his freezing January wedding day in Kansas City when him and Tori got married. I was honored to be their wedding photographer.
This last month, I took an emergency trip to Kansas City to be with my family. In God’s kindness, Jesse and Tori covered my trip expenses by asking me to photograph their family. What a joy it was on such a gorgeous evening and break from the hospital!

Jesse, Tori and your amazing clan: Thank you and I love you all!!

Do you think you have put booking family photos off for too long? Just message me “Book me” and I’ll get the ball rolling for you! Where my fellow Lord of the Rings nerds at in Orange County? Anyone want a Lord of the Rings themed family photo session? I’d love to photograph some hobbits!

Could your family rock the Halloween / Fall / Orange High School Panthers vibes that the Poitra Family is giving off here?
