The month of May is my official kickoff to wedding season, which I’m beyond excited about! As I’ve been prepping for all the weddings coming up, I’ve been reflecting on my “why.”

I think wedding photography is an incredible art form, yet quite honestly, it can all start to look the same (especially on Instagram). But the one thing that keeps me creating and coming back for more is the connection that happens on a wedding day.

It’s you experiencing one of the best days of your life alongside your favorite people. That’s what I love and strive to honor on a wedding day. Your relationships and connections are unique to you, and I believe that’s the driving force behind storytelling on a wedding day. There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing my couples fully immersed in the conversations, events, and experiences of their day.

No two weddings are the same because of the people who have walked alongside you to get to this moment in time. And what a special thing it is to be able to document that.

I’m so grateful for another year of doing my dream job and photographing the most incredible couples 🤍 It’s an honor to be trusted by so many of you and I’ll forever be grateful for that.
