I think there's something so special about a love that's a little wild!

The kind of love that makes you want to get out, explore new places, chase sunsets, and just experience life together!

And while the mountains, the views, and the adventures are pretty incredible, I think what makes them even better is having your favorite person right there beside you!

Because years from now, you might not remember every little detail of where you went, but you'll remember how it felt to experience it together!

And to me, that's what makes it all so beautiful!

There's just something about a rainy wedding day that makes everything feel a little more romantic!!!

Maybe it's the cozy atmosphere, the way everyone comes together, or the fact that even a little rain can't take away from the excitement of marrying your favorite person!

Here's a little word of advice for all my future brides! As much as we hope for beautiful weather on our wedding day, Mother Nature sometimes has other plans! That's why having a backup plan is SO important!

Thankfully, Angie and Charles were prepared, and instead of worrying about the weather, they were able to focus on what really mattered. Celebrating their love, soaking in every moment, and making memories with the people they love most, because at the end of the day, a little rain doesn't make your wedding any less beautiful! Sometimes, it just becomes another special part of your story!!!

Your wedding day doesn’t start when you walk down the aisle! It starts that morning, surrounded by your favorite people, music playing, coffee in hand, nerves kicking in and that little feeling of “oh my gosh, we’re actually doing this!”

Give yourself time to soak it all in! Eat something, drink some water, hand your phone off to someone you trust and don’t worry if everything isn’t running perfectly on time!

These are the moments that become part of your story too! The nervous laughs, the happy tears and those few quiet moments before you head off to marry your best friend!

Don’t rush through the beginning just to get to the next part! This is your wedding day too!

This is your reminder that your photos don't have to feel like a photoshoot!

Go somewhere beautiful, hold onto each other, laugh way too hard, wander around and just enjoy being together! You don't have to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. That's my job!

I'll give you a little direction when you need it, but some of my favorite photos happen in those moments in between. The ones where you forget about the camera and it's just the two of you, making another memory together!

That's the kind of love I want to photograph! A little adventurous, a little wild, and completely yours! 😍

If you’re thinking about eloping, I want you to know this:

Your wedding day doesn’t have to be bigger to be more meaningful! 🤍

You can bring the people who mean the most to you. You can spend the morning slowly drinking coffee together, wander through a place that feels like YOU, read your vows somewhere quiet, and spend the rest of the day simply being together.

You don’t have to spend every minute taking photos. You don’t have to follow a traditional timeline. And you definitely don’t have to choose a location just because it looks good in pictures!

Choose the place that makes your hearts feel alive.
Choose the traditions that actually mean something to you.
Choose the little moments you’ll want to remember years from now.

Because at the end of the day, your elopement isn’t really about the adventure, the dress, the flowers, or even the photos.

It’s about the two of you choosing each other and getting to begin this next chapter together in a way that feels completely, wonderfully YOU. 🤍

Your engagement session doesn't have to look like everyone else's. If cowboy boots, open fields, old trucks, dusty roads, and golden sunsets feel more like you, let's lean into it. The best photos happen when your session actually feels like your relationship!

So bring the boots. Wear the hat. Get a little dirty. Dance in the field. And let's make some memories while we're at it. 🤠

LOVE!

That's the word that encapsulates this weekend! I know that's cliche to say but it's the truth. Having so many of their friends and family travel from Florida to California for their wedding is truly a testament to how much they are loved! There were tears and laughter, good memories shared and just overall fun!!! Cheers to Mr and Mrs Wilks!!! 🤍
