When it snows at my day job I hate that white stuff, but I truly do love the snow. Especially when I’m out with my camera. Snow just makes life miserable at work, but other than that, I love it!

This shot was taken in Yellowstone a couple@winters ago right after a blizzard rolled through!

I have a pile of non-waterfowl images I have yet to share. Although waterfowl is primarily what I am most known for, I enjoy all wildlife in wild places. I’m going to start sharing more of these images with you. Would be a shame to just leave them on my computer hidden away in some folder I never open!

Sorry I haven’t been posting much. I have been chasing turkeys since April 1st and honestly they are kicking my tail. Been close a ton, but no great photo opportunities. I’ll keep trying, but until then, you will just have to enjoy this shot from last year!

Hey fellow photographers, anyone have any experience with UGreen memory systems? I currently use several external SSD drives, but with insane rising costs and the amount of images I need access too, I'm looking to set up my own cloud based storage system. I see adds for this system all the time and seems reasonable, but as you know a photographers files are you life, really want to make sure I buy something quality! Thanks in advance, also open to any other suggestions!!!

Went out after Turkeys, ended up on a Pheasant hunt! I’m not complaining though! Had a wonderful opportunity to shoot some up close portraits of this dapper fella! I do not get many opportunities to do this around home. Enjoy!

First thing’s first, I want to say none of these images are mine. These images belong to my good buddy and fellow waterfowl photographer . If you like my stuff and don’t follow Phil you are missing out big time!

A couple weeks ago I was at my local banquet. I donate a few prints to this banquet and try to always attend. When I walked in I looked towards the front of the room, and immediately recognized these three images.

Couple years ago Phil took some stellar macro shots that I absolutely loved and admired. Fast forward to this year and Delta put a piece together with three of my favorite Phil Kahnke shots of all time.

I almost never buy wall art because I have a lot of my own stuff hanging and most of my wall space is already decorated. I without hesitation decided I would make an exception and this piece was going home with me!

I love it, forever enshrined in my man cave!

This warm… no let’s say hot Midwest weather doesn’t have me very interested in photographing waterfowl. For one most have left for the breeding grounds and second 80-90 degrees is way too warm for waders lol. However this weather does have me fired up for something else!!!
