Robert Trumble, of Orland, ME, shares a photo from Feb 27. "With snow forecasted through the night, I planned for an early morning in the park. When I woke up early the next morning the thermometer read 0º. I arrived in the park just as the sky was beginning to lighten, and it was quiet as it lay under a blanket of fresh snow. The unplowed road sparkled in the headlights as I made my way along the steep cliffs. The sea was calm and the air was bitter cold as the sky continued to brighten. I made my way down through the woods to the edge of the cliff where the trees opened up to this beautiful view. Acadia National Park really is a whole new place when covered in snow." This is the last image I took this evening and I was not 100% what I was looking for. It was almost completely dark out so I did not have the time to find a different image. This is the fun of it all. Now I know the location better and will soon find “the image” that waits for me there.
