This year, I loosened my death grip on one very big thing: I brought on a few associate photographers.
And whew. I stressed about it way more than I probably needed to.
For years, Michelle Coombs Photography has been exactly that. Me. Photographing families myself, answering the emails, editing the galleries, delivering the final images, the whole thing.
So the idea of having anyone else behind the camera for my clients felt huge.
And honestly, I get why some families want Michelle. The business has my name on it. You inquired because you saw my work, my style, and my promise that your photos will not feel stiff, awkward, or like a department store portrait session from 1998.
But some families hear the full setup and are instantly good with it: an amazing photographer I trust photographing your session, while I still handle the communication, planning, editing, gallery delivery, and making sure the final images feel like Michelle Coombs Photography.
And I have to say, I am so dang happy with the associate photographers I’ve brought on.
They have been photographing families throughout Florida, and Indian Rocks Beach has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Relaxed, beachy, easygoing, real family photos.
Just your family, looking like your family, in a place that already feels like a memory.
