Filming a sunrise elopement at Clearwater Beach was a new experience for me, and it makes me want to film and photograph more elopements!! They are so sweet & laid-back, and often in beautiful locations like this! Come with me on the journey that was shooting this wedding last week:) 🎥 Definitely is a way to beat the heat in the summer & still have those beautiful beach vibes 🏖️

I have been meaning to get a F***y pack & assemble an emergency kit for weddings since probably the first wedding I ever did 9 years ago ☠️ Don’t ask me why I haven’t done it until now, but better late than never!!!

I got various items off Amazon, and I still do want to add to it as more ideas pop into my mind, because SO much can happen on a wedding day!!

If you are looking for tips on what to include in your wedding day emergency kit as a vendor or as a maid of honor or bride, here are the items I included!

- cotton pads & q-tips (great for makeup & sweat)
- deodorant (truly essential)
- sunscreen (also essential)
- tide pen
- tissues for all the happy tears
- Bobby pins!! (The veil will fly away I promise)

What else should I add?

Sometimes people ask me - “why hire a videographer?” Or “can’t we just throw up a camera in the back of the ceremony to film?” Now the truthful answer is you totally can, but sometimes it’s hard to convey to couples the difference in quality without a visual demonstration!

Audio is one of the major differences between a professional videographer and having your Uncle Tom toss up a camera - you may not think it is a big deal - but it contributes immensely to your enjoyment of watching the video back!
