If you're planning your wedding... a good rule of thumb to follow is, start with your guest count... figure that out... once thats sorted, figuring out your venue becomes less stressful cause you have a number in mind as far as how large or small a space you need.

Your family is lovely and even if other people are helping with expenses, that doesn't give them the right to demand input on your decisions around guests and other things. Its your wedding and yiu deserve to enjoy it without being pressured and stressed by other people's thoughts. If you want to involve others, you can but beware a kitchen with too many cooks.

Love is to be celebrated by patience, selflessness. Kindness, thoughtfulness and workin with what you've got. Don't stretch yourselves thin chasing things that are simply for a day, you have your whole lives ahead of you. Good luck and enjoy the process.

Posed photos vs candid documentary style wedding photography, trendy wall art worthy images that look fantastic in out portfolio but are maybe a drop in the bucket in percentage compared to the amount of truly natural occurring moments on a wedding day. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and or videographer, have you ever truly asked yourself if you really want documentary style coverage or do you want both that and the vogue shoot?

Its easy to say you want candid images. And its easy to say we'll blend into the day seamlessly but I wonder how much of each style we are all looking for and more importantly, I always want to know what matters to you.

The thing about wedding days and wedding photographers on the day is we love our detail shots. We dont tend to talk about it as much because fantastic portraits take up most of the conversation but wedding details to me are like any other painting or piece of wall art you've ever come across in a furniture store or your local hobby lobby

Imagine that instead of having a random piece of art from an artist you dont know of a place or object you are drawn to, you have a metallic or canvas print of your details as THAT piece of art on your wall. A daily reminder of the day you chose the love of your life. Just imagone...
