I needed a car that could elevate my photography and videography business. At first I was convinced I needed a Tesla because of how clean and convenient it is. I pictured myself shooting podcasts inside of it and using it as a modern backdrop for photo shoots. It just made sense.
But one day everything changed. I was scrolling and stumbled across an old VHS clip of someone filming their classic car with a vintage camcorder, just talking about it like it was a piece of their soul. That moment stopped me right in my tracks. Something about the nostalgia and the character in that video made me realize I did not want something new. I wanted something with a story. I wanted something timeless that could live in my work as a prop car for podcasts, music videos, photo shoots, everything.
And then it hit me. The perfect car was already in my life.
Over ten years ago my father bought this car and never really drove it. It sat in the garage while he was fighting cancer. When I lost him last year the car stayed parked right where he left it. I kept walking past it like it was frozen in time.
So I decided to bring it back to life. I decided to put his car on the road and give it the love he never got the chance to. Every time I drive it and every time I use it for a shoot it feels like a piece of him is riding with me. It is more than a prop and more than a car. It is a connection to my father and a reminder that some things are meant to live on through us.
A timeless car with a timeless story. And now it has a new chapter.
