The best photos usually happen somewhere between direction and freedom.
A luxury engagement session shouldn’t feel stiff or overly posed - but it also shouldn’t feel awkward and completely unguided. My approach is giving couples intentional direction, movement, and prompts that photograph beautifully while still leaving room for the moments to unfold naturally between them. The result is imagery that feels elevated, editorial, cinematic... and still completely like you.

For Shelsie & Lance, that looked like champagne at the hotel bar, flash photography, and an afternoon that felt like an editorial dream🥹

Hi if you’re new here — I’m Andreea, a wedding photographer documenting people in a way that feels honest, effortless and emotional. I’m probably fixing your hair, hyping you up, and crying during your vows all at the same time.

Also… these were supposed to be bright, sunny branding photos until Florida decided to schedule a storm at the exact same time as my own photoshoot. But honestly, the moody beach kinda fits me better anyway. 🌊

Rachel & Chris looked at the beach exactly how you’re supposed to — like they forgot the camera was even there.
No stiff posing. No perfect hair. No trying too hard. Just wind, salt air, messy movement, and the kind of connection that makes a gallery feel alive.

One of my biggest tips for beach sessions?
Stop fighting the wind - the best beach photos happen when you lean into the movement instead of controlling every strand of hair and every dress detail. The ocean already gives the session emotion — you just have to let it. 🥹

And honestly… the slightly blurry, windswept, in-between moments usually become the favorites.
