I had my Jatropha plant for over 5 years in which it grew into a beautiful tree. During the wild and crazy winter that Florida went through, my Jatropha FROZE. In this picture I still had the dead branches still up with new shoots growing from the trunk at the ground. I didn't know it would regrow and I'm so happy I didn't lose it altogether. I do miss how beautiful the tree filled my patio though.
Sometimes in life when things seem like they won't get any better, beautiful surprises await you.💕

I went to Bok Tower Gardens today with a good friend. Real Feel was over 100 degrees and it's not even officially Summer yet! I spent most of the time sitting in the shade, but this place always brings me peace and it's my favorite botanical garden!
Tiger Swallowtail butterfly greeted us as we walked into the gardens.
