This year has been QUITE a doozy. This is by far the hardest I've ever worked. Usually, any seeds I plant take about a year to flourish into something greater, so let's see what next year looks like!

Instagram is a highlight reel. Just know that once I get to my destination, I will not be considered lucky. I'll be considered blessed.

Establishing as the professional spinoff to Shot by Shae Rose, giving myself access to a team while allowing my creativity to stay afloat in this workaholic society has been a challenge. I had to learn that my business and I are two separate entities, one with a heartbeat, one without.

I've met so many people, forged connections, and even burned bridges from overextending myself.

Moral of the story: Rest. Cut out the noise. Know your worth. Know your capacity.

🐟The fish necklace ofc made me think of the beach, and Im so happy that Tife felt comfortable enough to hold it.

🐟Growing up, my mother would fry fish in the traditional escovitch (escabeche) style, something she still does and has mastered. These images are a knod to that.

🐟Also, that bird totally tried to square up on us. Left its flock and everythang.
