I’ve had the privilege of photographing this little angel five times in just one year, and somehow, every session feels a little more special than the last.

When I first met her, she was shy and a little unsure of the guy behind the camera. Now, whenever she sees an Asian guy wearing PURPLE , she already knows… it’s Picture Day!

Thank you so much for trusting me to photograph your kid. I truly enjoy every single time I get to see her, watch her grow, and capture these little milestones along the way.

And even more, thank you for your continued support. I hope I’ve done a good job capturing your daughter’s milestones and personality, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings! ✨📸

Some of you may know that the beautiful woman in this picture is my wife, and she was probably my very first client. ❤️

Now, after three kiddos, she’s still very happy to let me photograph her! 😄

Behind every school I visit and every season where I photograph thousands of children, there’s someone at home supporting me through it all. I truly couldn’t do what I do without her.

I chose this image for our annual Summer Image Competition as a little way of showing my appreciation for her. ❤️

An assistant director asked if she could bring her grandchild along on Picture Day. Of course we said yes.

We’ve photographed thousands of kids over the years. This one stopped us in our tracks. You can see it in his face, the kind of joy you can’t direct or pose for. It just happens.
