And it’s exactly the kind of promise I watched Mathew and Abby make towards one another. Their wedding day was such a beautiful day to remember and I’ll forever cherish them trusting me to frame it still in time. 🤍

Now that I am a Florida photographer, my love for colors has immensely grown. The greens, the blues, the reds… you name it. This wedding really made me thank the Lord for the ability to see color. It’s something so small to be grateful for but I think about back in the day, when all anyone had was black and white film and couldn’t document in color, how sad that must of been to not really get the full effect of what the human eye was seeing. It’s like that Jamie Johnson song “you should have seen it in color.” So, here’s Jess + John’s wedding in color 🩵

When I arrived at Kaleigh + Jonathan’s wedding, I immediately knew the Lord had placed me there for a reason. You see, Kaleigh is one of those people who genuinely CARES for you and wants to know about your life and she surrounds herself with those same people, including Jonathan. Their love story is true testament of the saying “light at the end of a tunnel” and getting to know that was such an honor for me. Kaleigh is one of those friends who texts you randomly to check in with you about how you’re doing and the Lord knew I needed people like that in the season of life that I’m in. Sit back, listen and learn about your couples.

Listen to their story. Listen to what they’ve overcome. Listen to how they met one another. Listen to everything that they have on their heart.

One of the best things you can do as a human first and foremost is to listen. Because when you’re able to learn the most special parts about people, you’re able to serve them better.

Sometimes being a wedding photographer isn’t always about shooting at the best venue or photographing what’s trending. Our main mission is to love people. Everything else will follow after. So, go out there, love your people and love them hard. 🤍
