There is something so magical about the peaceful, quiet magic of a posed newborn session. 🤍

Lately, so many of my clients have been choosing my lifestyle sets—and you all know I am absolutely obsessed with capturing those raw, candid, "day in the life" moments! But it was such a nice little change of pace to dive back into a classic posed newborn session package this week.

This sweet baby girl was an absolute dream for her session, and I was secretly thrilled because it gave me the perfect excuse to unbox a few gorgeous new items for her to wear! ✨

The first few moments of life are completely magical—no matter how baby arrives into the world. ✨

I am so incredibly excited to share that I AM BACK doing what my heart loves most: birth photography! 📸🤍

For those who may not know my story, I specialized in capturing births before my husband passed away. Because life shifted and I lost my built-in support system, being on-call for weeks at a time just wasn't possible while raising my kiddos. But now that they are older, I am officially stepping back into the birth world!

Right now, I am exclusively booking photography services for scheduled C-sections (belly births) in the Kansas City area! This allows me to capture your beautiful story without the unpredictable on-call window.

To all the belly birth mamas out there: you are absolute rockstars. The strength it takes to undergo major surgery, be stitched or stapled back together, and immediately jump into "mom mode" is nothing short of heroic. 💪 Read that again. You are SO strong.

My soul has needed some extra creativity lately, which means I’ve been trying out some new lighting and motion techniques in the studio. To say I'm excited is an understatement! ✨

This week, an incredible dancer from Reign Dance Studios came into my Osawatomie studio and we just played around with some creative movement. These are just a couple of the first shots we got, but don't worry. There is definitely more magic coming to your feed soon!

But don’t worry, my heart still has plenty of room for those squishy, sweet, brand-new babies. 👶✨ I’m still offering all types of sessions, including full newborn luxury portrait experiences.

Planning for a newborn session can feel overwhelming, but I make it completely stress-free:

The Blueprint: We choose a tentative date based on your estimated due date.

The Arrival: Once your sweet baby makes their grand debut, you send me a quick message, and we’ll lock in or adjust the final date!

When to Book: Many families book months in advance to secure their spot and take advantage of flexible custom payment plans.

Last-Minute Delivery? Don't panic. While spots fill up fast, some weeks I'm willing to work 7 days a week to make sure I can squeeze your new miracle into the studio schedule.
