This picture is very special to me and here is why. This is a picture of my father taken back before he passed away in 2015. He suffered from Parkinson's Disease and unfortunately a form of Alzheimer's Disease. My father was an avid photographer who took pictures of just about anything, especially his family whom he loved dearly. I wasn't sure if he would remember what to do with the camera because of the Alzheimer's but he picked it up and immediately began looking through the top of the camera just like it was yesterday to him. I had also brought my camera that day and I began taking photos of him. When I captured this one with his hands and the camera, I immediately knew where my love of photography had come from. I cherish this photo for so many reasons and on so many different levels. Every time that I go out to shoot photography, I look at this picture and am reminded of days past, the love for my father and the love he had for photography. I truly believe that I acquired the love of photography from him and I know why he loved it so much :) Have a blessed day and as always, be kind to one another.
